International Welsh boxer and rising star Cory Jones has officially stepped into the professional arena. This is an exciting time for Cory, who hails from Wrexham and has been boxing since the age of eight. In recent months, he has rapidly gained popularity and interest from boxing fans.


Cory has enjoyed significant success at the amateur level, becoming a five-time National Champion and International Boxer for Wales. Now, at the age of 20, he's ready to embrace a new chapter in his story. He is stepping into the spotlight and entering the world of professional boxing.

Cory expresses deep gratitude for all the hard work and learning he gained from Welsh Boxing. On his Instagram, he shared, "I would like to thank Welsh Boxing for all the opportunities over the years since being 13 years old." He continued, "I would like to thank every coach on the programme over the years who gave me their time and knowledge."


It's clear that Cory has gained valuable experience and knowledge from his amateur days. He is now more than ready to make the big step up into professional boxing.
